Sam Stern has been one of my favourite chefs for years. I first discovered him when I was given his vegetarian cook book for Christmas and I’ve been following his recipes ever since.
This Strawberry Tarts with a Prosecco Infused Creme Patissiere recipe has been one of my favourites and was really fun to make…yes, I may have tasted some of the Prosecco to make sure it was good enough to go in the mixture.
Strawberries and cream are a delicious British tradition, made all the better by the addition of Prosecco. It’s an impressive dessert if you’re looking to celebrate a special occasion or just want to make the most of summer.

Oh – as a serving suggestion I do recommend that you finish up the left over Prosecco…you know, all in the name of avoiding waste.
